Galen is a Senior Adviser and Principal of Wealth Architects and has over 22 years’ experience in the Financial Planning Industry. Galen commenced his financial planning career in 2003 following an extensive work history in consultancy, Human Resources, and finance. He has worked in his own business as well as 10 Years with Queensland Teachers Credit Union which then became a bank and merged with RACQ.
Galen initially focused his financial planning practice on superannuation, self-managed super funds, retirement planning and wealth creation. Galen soon expanded his services and expertise to include financial advice across all areas of personal financial planning with the aim of assisting clients to successfully manage their financial life and goals.
In May 2021, Galen joined Wealth Architects as a Senior Financial Planner. Galen is responsible for providing portfolio advice to clients, professionals, families, and individuals. His approach is to build and maintain a professional relationship with clients to ensure that their individual goals are met by creating and implementing personalised financial strategies. Galen’s areas of expertise include retirement planning, financial markets, wealth creation and self-managed super funds.
